Instructions
- Soak beans overnight.
- Put beans in large pot with water, salt mustard, and sugar. Simmer for 2 hours.
- Add catsup, onion and chili powder. Cook 1-2 hours more or until beans are tender. Add more water if needed.
- Brown ground beef
- Add beef, corn and tomato juice. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Adjust seasonings as desired (add more chili powder, hot sauce, taco seasoning, etc.)
- Dip soup into bowls. Crumble tortilla chips on top. Sprinkle with cheese and a dab of sour cream.
