Soak beans overnight. 2. Put beans in large pot with water, salt mustard, and sugar. Simmer for 2 hours. 3. Add catsup, onion and chili powder. Cook 1-2 hours more or until beans are tender. Add more water if needed. 4. Brown ground beef 5. Add beef, corn and tomato juice. Simmer for 15 minutes. 6. Adjust seasonings as desired (add more chili powder, hot sauce, taco seasoning, etc.) 7. Dip soup into bowls. Crumble tortilla chips on top. Sprinkle with cheese and a dab of sour cream.
