Demo/Posix_GCC: fix compiler flags and compiler warnings (#1351)

Browse source 
- Change CMakeLists.txt to set the C compiler flags instead
  of the C++ compiler flags.
- Change to compiler warnings from "gcc -Wconversion" in
  main_full.c.
