4d6374c923 Get rid of the 'center' parameter for splashes. There were only 2 of almost 500 splashes which were not centered.

a2ee6a6681 FM Radio mishmash: Make a quieter screen for the SWCODEC targets esp. for the benefit of x5; I wasn't sure if it was good to alter timeouts for HW codec. Simplify things and prepare for eventual scanning and tuning changes (which should help quiet x5 down even more). Make things behave themselves better in general. Enable SWCODEC FM Recording menu and screen for sim as a bonus.

b35c1d8d35 Change anywhere where do_menu()'s return value was checked and expected 
a bool to appear the same as the old API. Possibly fixes some bugs, but 
doubtful.

1c97b22ca5 SWCODEC: Fix a problem with voice in the menus caused by my error using the wrong pointer when aligning the codec malloc buffer. Probably the reason for FS#6803. Oy.

879070f89e * Clean up speex.c a little. 
* Sync to Speex SVN 12735 which includes some of our warnings fixes.
* Move decoder output to IRAM. Not much perfomance gain though.

a26917e207 Coldfire DSP Assembly: Fix a bug in the resampler that would only affect one frame on the transition from up to down. Fix a bug in sample output that could be the cause of reported FLAC glitching. Output routines now pass all alignment and size combination tests.

2eefb5acb8 Optimized the gui list code performance, including automatic frame dropping and cpu boosting when button events are getting queued. Improved scrollwheel acceleration code is needed to notice a real change.

c2d2106fd7 Audio Init: Just can't stand that heirarchy. Add one level of abstraction. Might come in handy anyhow. Use sound.h instead of the conditional includes for audio hardware headers. If someone doesn't like that, yell at my evil twin. :)
