80cb3551eb Statusbar handling fixes. 
Fixes FS#9845 - %we/%wd wasnt working
WPS no longer resets the viewportmanger more than needed (was doing it twice/draw before)
screens can now enable/disable the statusbar easily ignoring the setting instead of needing special handling (fix for the radio screen coming soon)

minor glitch introduced in this commit... the statusbar in the WPS might disappear for a fraction of a second when it is entered, I need to track this down...

ba4be51571 per Jens Arnold's suggestion: 
use platform clz instruction only on ARMv5+, where we know it returns 32 for a 0 input, and remove the special case for 0

use binary search only to find most significant four bits, then use lookup table to add number of leading zeroes within those bits

8f1d8be7a7 pictureflow tweaks: 
allow wider covers on landscape, bringing square covers closer to suggested size from pre-scaling pictureflow

tweak defaults for center margin and cover spacing a little bit

change default title display to bottom if LCD_HEIGHT <= 100

34b3fd9f61 MPEGPlayer: If valid start AND end timestamps for a stream are not found then neither are considered to be valid which marks the stream as invalid. Also, we do program streams, not transport streams-- use correct terminology in MPEG parser.

4118de4cc8 Make sure 'Battery: Charging' is displayed in the info screen when charging no matter the algorithm (Archos Recorder still specially handled). Have screen refresh itself at 1HZ if CONFIG_CHARGING.

12a0ed3b8d Commit FS#9724, which reworks the preprocessor defines related to backlight fading to a CONFIG_BACKLIGHT_FADING style. The apps/ code will only see which setting is supposed to be used, specific backlight fading handling is kept in firmware, slightly reword the manual text about software fading too with regards to the Gigabeat S

da76a34694 Use bus reset detection for all ARC OTG devices. Remove conflict from LV24020LP driver with some GPIO-by-number macros for PP502x. Start monitoring for USB stack once all core threads and queues are created otherwise queues will likely be registered after USB acks. Putting PP502x system_reboot in IRAM (unmapped, uncached) memory seems to help it work more consistently. Hopefully I got all the PP USB connect handlers in the right spot in irq_handler. If device seems unresponsive to cable, check there first.

e1b01d4608 Remove floor0 stuff from IRAM. Results in a tiny speed decrease for files encoded with 6+ year old versions of the Xiph encoder, but saves IRAM which can be better used elsewhere. Thanks Nils Wallmenius in FS#7832 for the idea.

da367f4bd4 Fix TYPE_BOOL settings format string. Boolean settings should really use 'on'/'off', but this is currently impossible due to the fixed field width requirement introduced in r15052.
